Had my eyes fixed in 2006 – great results since without any complications. Vision is still 20/25 12 years later and I still don’t need “safety glasses” at age 48…

I have a question for you, James. How is that you can see your phone without reading glasses? I was told lasik can’t fix that up-close vision once you hit that 40-50 age mark. My mother was near-sighted before having Lasik but now needs reading glasses. Could it have something to do with the fact you were far-sighted to begin with?
Erich Holtzer
Haha I just watched your June 2018 EDC video and you pretty much answered my question in the first 5 seconds.

I am far sighted. Getting that fixed helps my near sight “SOME”.

I had lasik surgery done about 4 years ago, and it was worth every penny. I was near-sighted since childhood, but I see great after the surgery.
James, I’m glad the surgery went well for both you and Rebecca! Have y’all had any issues with light sensitivity or seeing details at night after surgery? I had those for a couple weeks after mine.

I have been wearing glasses for about a year and hate every minute of it. I too used to wear sunglasses all the time and miss it. Approximately what does this cost?
