    I’ve had that retention switch on my Safariland duty holster for years.

    It really shines in an nonpermissive environment where your potential to shoot is lower, but the threat of a snatch attempt is high, like working a big crowd or party. You go hands on with a person, you can worry about someone trying to snatch your pistol a little less.
